I, however, am familiar with Verismo (and I loved it) and therefore I felt I could thoroughly enjoy this short glimpse into Rémy's and Alessio's life.
In fact, it may have been even a bit too short for my liking because I would have simply loved to get another glimpse of Cedric and Nicolas ... Rémy and Alessio weren't as lovable to me, but I guess it had a lot to do with the fact that I simply didn't have the time to get emotionally invested.

It's short and sweet and absolutely beautiful. I loved reading it, as I love reading almost anything by this author.
Delightful short story. I wish it were longer so we could get to know Remy and Alessio better. It was nice to see them reach what appears to be a HEA.
If you liked Verismo, you'll like this one. I would encourage everyone to give E.M. Lindsey a chance. This author writes with more maturity and reality that the genre tends to have, which I appreciate.
