I always love Melanie Shawn books, but I have to say, this might rank up there is one of my favorites they have ever written!Single Mom Julianna Perez just thinks she's taking her son Anthony to the Miami Thunder's football camp, but little does she know she's going to meet a man that is going to throw her very well scheduled, list-filled world off kilter.
Cole Carson is the quarterback of the Miami Thunder and his playboy ways are widely known. He's already late and he's only going to help out one week at the football camp. Or he was, until he laid eyes on Julianna.
Will the playboy change his ways and will the single mother who has never had anyone to count on open her heart and mind?
While this may be a novella, Melanie Shawn made you feel like this was a full length novel. The story was so well developed and you could really feel the emotions of each of the characters. Kudos to them for a job very well done!
While this is part of Carly Phillips Kindle Worlds, you would not have had to read any of the Dare books to enjoy this awesome story.

I have to admit I was confused about this book at first because I've read all the Dare books by Carley Phillips.. I loved them all.. I loved Cole and Julianna's story so much..it was to short.. I could have kept reading and reading...
I must admit I was a bit nervous about Cole in the first chapter but I was loving him quickly after that. I loved seeing the real life issues and fears a single mom has when letting someone into her and her child's world. Cole handled it amazing. I loved the relationship he had with his mom. Beautiful story!
I was thrilled that Melanie Shawn was given the chance to write this book. I loved the first two books in Carly Phillip's Dare to series but have been disappointed with the deteriorating quality of the series. It felt like Carly Phillips was churning out new Dare to books but the results have been mediocre. This book rocked and returned the original excitement and quality to the series. I'd be happy if Carly Phillips handed the series over to Melanie Shawn permanently.

O.M.G. I'm sitting here with tears rolling down my face, having just finished this totally freakin' awesome book. I've read and loved most of Melanie and Shawna's books, but this TOPS. THEM. ALL. It's sweet, real, charming, clever, and HOLY S*** sexy. Whew! And Cole and Julianna - they're absolute perfection in every way.
I chose this as my first Dare to Love Worlds book to read. The other authors are on my auto-buy list, so I'm familiar with their talent. But Melanie and Shawna have set the bar extremely high.
Kudos to Melanie Shawn for creating such a marvelous, heart warming story and Carly Phillips for inviting them to play in her world.
Julianna Perez Is a single mom who works three jobs to make ends meet and has been raising her son on her own for 10 years. Cole Carson is the thunders QB and planned on just going to one meeting of a children's football clinic until he meets Julianna and her son Anthony. These two are great together and have great chemistry. I love that Melanie Shawn brought many of the character from Carly Phillips Dare to Love series for this kindle world. This is a great quick read.

Sizzling hot doesn't begin to describe how sexy this novel is. I need time to cool off. Cole surprised me. So sexy, so romantic, and oh so HOT! How he moved their relationship from friendship to lovers was very smooth. The chemistry between Cole and Juliana is scorching hot. I enjoyed the story, but in all seriousness I could've done without the angst towards the end. Totally ridiculous. I also could've done without the getting married so quickly on the anniversary of when they first met. Twelve weeks to be exact. Still in the end this is one sexy read that'll melt your socks off. You'll fall in love with Cole and Juliana, but it'll be her son Anthony that will touch your heart.
I can't wait to go to bed tonight, and dream of my legs wrapped around a very sexy athlete/actor/model (basically any breathing sexy male specimen) in a swimming pool. Sweet dreams everyone.
When I heard an author I enjoyed reading was writing a book for a series I love, I was so excited. Cole is the playboy quarterback from the Miami Thunder (owned and managed by the Dare family) and Julianna is the single mother of a young boy participating in the Thunder's youth football program. Cole is volunteering for a day at the program and is immediately smitten by Julianna and by her son Anthony. Julianna is very strong independent single mother and is not interested in becoming involved with anyone, especially a star quarterback with a playboy reputation. However, Cole became a star quarterback through his talent and his ability to set a goal and focus on it until he accomplishes it. When he decides a relationship with Julianna (and Anthony) is what he wants he applies that focus. Will Julianna be able to resist? This book is just the right amount of steamy and as well written as the other Melanie Shawn books I have read. It also blends perfectly with the Dare Series books by Carly Phillips but can be read as a stand alone. I enjoyed this book and read it in one sitting on a short flight.
